Cougars News · Niwot High School Set to Play Fall Football and Sideline Cheer

Dear Niwot Football and Spirit Families  –

Thank you for your partnership and your patience as we navigate the evolving guidelines around high school athletics and activities. The Governor of Colorado and CHSAA, have recently approved the start of Field Hockey, Sideline Cheer/Dance, and Football for Fall Season A.  As we have monitored conversations at the state level, we have been working closely with our county health agencies to prepare for any changes to the athletic calendar. To this end, in accordance with Boulder County Public Health guidelines, St. Vrain Valley Schools will offer the opportunity for our high school student-athletes in Cheer, Dance, and Football to begin participation this Fall. St. Vrain athletes must adhere to Boulder County Public Health regulations, some of these regulations may be more restrictive than the state regulations, however, our first priority will always be to protect the safety and health of our students and staff.
