Cougars News · Niwot High School Hires Head Girls Soccer Coach

Thank you for your continued support as we look forward to another successful year for our girls’ soccer program at Niwot High School where we are committed to advancing the success of our students and strengthening partnerships with our families. We are excited to announce that after an extensive search, we were able to fill the open head girls soccer coaching position with a highly-qualified candidate, Jenna Machado.

In addition to being a lifelong soccer fan and player, Jenna Machado holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN where she also played college soccer. Coach Machado is in the process of obtaining her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver with a concentration in school counseling. She also serves as a graduate assistant with the CU Denver Counseling Center. Coach Machado is passionate about youth development and community engagement. She brings over ten years of experience coaching soccer and working with nonprofits. Coach Machado is excited to join the Niwot community and continue to help youth develop their passion for soccer.

Please join me in welcoming Coach Machado to the Niwot High School community – we look forward to celebrating what is sure to be an outstanding soccer season for our student-athletes. We are hosting a luncheon (lunch will be provided) for all soccer players to come to meet Coach Machado this Friday, November 8, during both lunches in the Drama Room (Rm. 630).

Go Cougars!

Sincerely,
