Bryan Snyder who is the Director of Team Nutrition for the Denver Broncos will be coming to Niwot High School on November 5th at 6:30 pm. This is a great opportunity for anyone to come and listen to topics such as pre-game and pre-practice fueling, hydration, in-game nutrition, recovery nutrition, dietary supplement, energy drinks, sleep, reducing inflammation, staying healthy and much more. The presentation will be held in the Niwot High School main gym and is free to anyone in the community to attend, so please come take advantage of this great opportunity. 

 

Here is a short biography on Bryan Snyder:

Bryan Snyder is entering his 11th year as the Director of Team Nutrition for the Denver Broncos Football Club. The Broncos hired Snyder in 2009 after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in dietetics. Upon finishing his degree and license as a dietitian, he accepted the position where he currently oversees the entire Nutrition Department including 13 chefs, interns, and dietitians. 

Snyder is a registered dietitian with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), as well as a member of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA)

Bryan’s responsibilities with the Broncos include one-on-one consultations with players helping them gain or lose weight, dietary analysis, and menu development for the training table, flight menus and hotel menus for team travel, evaluating dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness, hydration and proper fueling in the locker room, and hydration and fueling on the sidelines. Bryan is also responsible for performing body composition testing for the team and also provides frequent nutrition education to the Denver Broncos in small groups as well as team talks to help the team perform at its highest level. 

In addition to the Broncos, Bryan consults with the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Rockies in addition to speaking at multiple high schools across the state of Colorado. 

Snyder currently lives in Aurora, CO with his wife Sarah and 5 kids Kooper, Londynn, Annistynn, Emersynn, and Beauen.
